Prior to joining Friedman Engineering, Luis worked as a Design Engineer at Zodiac Aerospace (OEM), where he gained a deep understanding of the complexities of aircraft systems and the importance of safety and reliability in this industry. Luis collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs met performance and safety requirements. As part of the Friedman Engineering team, Luis designs and coordinates MEP systems for a variety of commercial, institutional, and residential projects. He works with a range of software tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Trane TRACE, to create detailed designs and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Luis is also proficient in a using variety of computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as CATIA V5, SolidWorks, etc. to create 3D models and detailed drawings. Luis works closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that designs meet project requirements and are delivered on-time and on-budget. Luis has bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from the Technical Institute of Tijuana (I.T.T.) and is a registered Engineer in Mexico.
