The Little Beet

Designed full MEP for a new restaurant tenant in a hi-rise mixed-use residential building in downtown Washington, DC. Design included a panel upgrade, a new grease fan at hi-roof (over the residences), running a new gas line from the main manifold, and new bathrooms, kitchen, and dining room.

Location:        Washington, DC

Basic Data:     1,275 SF Restaurant within appx 230,000 SF Hi-Rise Mixed-Use Building.

MEP Data:      Grease Fan, Gas-Fired Make-up Air unit. Panel upgrade, under-sink grease trap.

Carpet One

Carpet One, an existing tenant in Crofton Center, moved a few bays down within the same shopping center. The relocated space was appx 1100 SF, with appx 250 SF ‘back of house’ area (with the rest of the space as normal retail). We were able to re-use most of the existing MEP equipment, while re-locating the bathroom to create a more efficient showroom.
