This project renovated a high-traffic apartment building lobby, with updated lighting, security, and convectors. Storm piping and drainage was designed for a large outside portico/overhang for pedestrians at the building entry.

Our Team conducted a study focusing on methods to mitigate the propagation of Covid-19 through mechanical systems in the main sanctuary, study hall, and social hall. The study reviewed ventilation, air filtrations and overall design intent in an effort to re-open after lockdown. Recommendations included repairs to ventilation and filter racks, and sizing/routing of ventilation ducts within the existing structure, as well as discussion of disinfection methods (UV-C, etc.).

Falcon Construction has been building homes for many years in the DC area, relying on their own custom woodworking shop for high-end furniture and millwork. This project relocated Falcons woodworking shop from its former location to a new location in Rockville, Maryland. The new location is an existing 2-story, 2-tenant warehouse building, built in the early 1970s. Falcon’s shop now occupies the upper floor, which has fully independent egress, electric, and gas utilities. Work was also done to modify the electrical service of the sub-tenant below.
